Under the Giant Penny is a blog about collecting and enjoying Batman memorabilia. Your Bat-hosts, Brian and Brian, will be showcasing items from many different eras and incarnations of the Dark Knight. As Batman collects trophies to remember his own past, many collectors do the same with Batman toys and collectibles to hold on to a tangible piece of their own past and to celebrate the rich history of one of America's most enduring fictional characters. So, join us as we reminisce and talk about the toys and collectibles of the Batman.

Ha! I didn't notice that until you pointed it out. Only you.
I was trying to just grab scenes from the 1966 intro to give the feel of the show and now I have Batman punching Robin in the face.
Have a smashing Christmas everyone.
That's great! It really DOES look like Batman shakes Robin's hand and then clocks him.
Couldn't have worked out better if you had planned it.
Nice work!
"That's your first lesson Robin, never think for an instance you are safe from the Batman!"

"That's for singing 'Jingle Bells Batman Smells' you little punk. Now you'll be singing a new tune: 'All I Want for Christmas is my Two Front Teeth.'
